Another cultural treasure has been added to the list of restored sites. The restoration of the tomb and mausoleum of Sarı Nasuh, located on plot 43 of block 2030 at the junction of Akdeniz Avenue and Hakperest Street, has been completed. Sarı Nasuh, one of the prominent figures of his time, was among the soldiers who took part in the conquest of Istanbul. Although information about him is limited, it is known that he commissioned the Değirmen Mosque in Macuncu.

The tomb of Sarı Nasuh is situated within the cemetery as a separate, walled-off section. This area features cylindrical headstones and footstones. It was found that, due to natural disasters and environmental factors over time, a significant number of the gravestones had lost their original positions.

As part of the restoration work carried out, the stones were repositioned as close as possible to their original locations, taking their current condition into account. Broken and fragmented gravestones that could not be restored to their original integrity or re-erected were placed on a specially prepared display panel within the cemetery grounds and placed under protection. In this way, both the historical identity of the site was preserved and the traceability of the existing remains was ensured.
